A must-see Kiwi movie that is set "just up the road" on the East Coast.
We reckon that Boy is now THE iconic Kiwi movie of all time. Stunning scenery, great humour with surprisingly superb acting that sells a down to earth, believable story. In a subtle way the film touches on serious social dysfunction, but this is not in-your-face like Once Were Warriors.
